When I first started collecting helmets, I would get rather anxious about the smallest details. I have included this section so that I may hopefully save others facing the same predicament from any sense of doubt in the authenticity of their helmets.
The pictures above show different manufacturers labels on some of my helmets. Each manufacturer has a different approach, so it is expected to see slight or even major differences between examples from different manufacturers and over time.
Below are some of the variations I have found. These Variations have nothing to do with the unit just in how/when the helmet was made.
Rare = Very hard to come by
Less Common = Every once in a while

Helmet Tins come in varying sizes. They can have name plates. Some have a name painted on. Many are blank. They might even be painted different colors.
