The Four Feathers (1939)
This film has some of the best home service helmet scenes possible, including the picture above. Why? Filmed in the 1930s, real helmets and uniforms were likely used by the cast and extras. The review scene where the colonel announces that the regiment will be shipping out shows dozens of soldiers, all wearing their helmets and scarlet tunics, a truly magnificent sight. The following scene where the four officers meet up after, all bringing along their helmets is also pretty cool.
Young Winston (1972)
Young Winston is sure not to leave out Winston Churchill's time at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, showing a spectacular, although brief, marching scene with all of the cadets in their helmets.
The Four Feathers (2002)
Another, more recent four feathers take also did not forget to keep the helmets alive. They show up in this movie during the training scene. The scene offers a neat perspective on the helmets, as they, at least from my knowledge, were truly used during training and not just for full dress.
The King's Man (2021)
Yes, a home service helmet does appear in The King's Man. If you watch as the characters enter the Kingsman tailor shop, you can see a helmet in a glass display box.
